A beloved New Jersey steakhouse is closing its doors for a second summer in a row. The Pub, an iconic South Jersey restaurant located in Pennsauken, will shutter from June 30 through Sept. 19, an employee confirmed to NJ Advance Media in a phone call Wednesday. The employee confirmed the eatery is closing to allow for renovations and repairs in the building as well as to let employees go on vacation. Plans to close were originally announced Monday in a Facebook post.

A well-known evangelist preacher was hospitalized and is in critical condition after recently suffering a cardiac arrest. Jimmy Swaggart, widely popular for his longtime televangelist work, went into cardiac arrest Sunday and had to be revived before being taken to the hospital. His son, Donnie Swaggart, announced the news in a service Sunday. Swaggart received chest compressions from his sons before emergency personnel arrived at the scene.

A New Jersey eatery announced Tuesday it will be shutting down temporarily after a small fire damaged its kitchen. Harry’s Daughter, a well-known Caribbean restaurant in Jersey City, took to social media to announce they are closing “until further notice” due to a fire that took place Monday. “We experienced a small fire, but thankfully, everyone is safe and we are okay,” the post read. “We’ll share updates as soon as we receive the all-clear to reopen.

David Hekili Kenui Bell, an actor who recently appeared in the live-action remake of “Lilo & Stitch,” has died at the age of 46. Bell’s sister Jalene Kanani Bell, announced the actor’s death in a Facebook post Sunday. “It is with a heavy heart I share that my sweet, generous, talented, funny, brilliant and handsome little brother David H. K. Bell will spend today in the company of our Heavenly Father,” the post read.
