Hambledon Cricket Club held the match at Ridge Meadow on Sunday, June 1, in memory of Jackie Turner, who died aged 42 from breast cancer. Ian Turner led an XI of past Hambledon players in a T20 fixture against a Chairman’s XI selected by Mark Le-Clercq Jacqueline, whose father Robert 'Topsy' Turner is a Hambledon legend, came from a sporty family and represented Hampshire Women’s cricket team and played 3rd and 4th XI cricket for Hambledon ladies.
