ALLENTOWN, Pa. -- It's the final day for the Downtown Allentown Market. The multi-vendor spot for food and drink will close Thursday, after nearly six years in business. "It's sad. It's been a good run. I mean, it hasn't been a good run, but we made it, and it's a little disappointing," Maria Piazza, one of the owners of Chez's Delicatessen. There were mixed emotions inside the market on Thursday, as the last few vendors standing fired up the grill and chopped up the goods for one last serving.

SINKING SPRING, Pa. - Intense winds continued to blow through our region on Wednesday. They swept through parts of the Lehigh Valley and Berks County, causing major power outages and downed trees. 69 News noticed a downed tree on Arrowhead Road in Sinking Spring, Berks County, with several limbs, branches and leaves smashed on the ground. It's not the only damage done from the wind. PPL Electric reports that they had about 38,000 customers in their service area without power on Tuesday.
