E-bikes have also become huge targets for thieves. When two e-bikes were stolen from a South Jordan man’s garage, he figured his homeowner’s insurance would have him covered, as it would with any other bike.

HERRIMAN, Utah — Last March, Andrew Berg’s new home in Herriman became a soggy mess, as water poured into his basement. “There was about four inches of water coming in through one window well,” Berg recalled. “The window well, which is a good six feet tall, was about half full of water and then it was just gushing from underneath the bottom of the window.”The flood left damage to the carpet, drywall, and doors in multiple rooms. Berg estimated it would cost thousands to repair.

SALT LAKE CITY — Finally, a conclusion: True Health’s owners surrendered their APRN licenses following the state’s investigation. It’s been 15 months since True Health, a clinic treating neuropathy patients in Taylorsville, was effectively shuttered by an emergency order issued by the Utah Division of Professional Licensing. KSL Investigators reported about patients like Larry Perkins last year, who said they were lured with promises of reversing their debilitating neuropathy.

TAYLORSVILLE, Utah — Telehealth is massively expanding, making it easier for people to connect with medical care. But one Taylorsville woman says she hit a snag when she got a big bill for her telehealth visit, all because her doctor wasn’t based in Utah. Utahn Ashlee Argyle liked being able to visit the doctor from the comfort of her couch. “Telehealth is super easy,” she said.

(CNN) — Steve Harwell, the founding lead singer of the rock group Smash Mouth, died Monday, according to his manager. He was 56. No cause of death was shared, but Harwell had been receiving hospice care over the weekend. He died at his home in Boise, Idaho, with family and friends by his side, according Robert Hayes, the manager of Smash Mouth. “Steve Harwell was a true American Original. A larger than life character who shot up into the sky like a Roman candle,” Hayes said in a statement to CNN.

Congress has literally had since April to figure out the FY2025 budget. Don't let this grandstanding fool you. 👏They've 👏 had 👏 months. Appropriations has met for months to reach a bipartisan option. Now they're playing politics with Americans' lives.

I hope the Utah Senate can get the appointments approved quickly so this body can operate at full functionality. It's vital for transparency in this state. It's not just journalists using the SRC to appeal GRAMA decisions and it's an important check/balance to our sunshine laws.
