After an all night debate, Texas has what Republican leadership has wanted for years; school choice. The vote was 85 to 63. Early Forecast Calls for Above Average Storm Activity in 2025

The Atlantic Hurricane Season begins on June first, and the early predictions are here. Forecasters at Colorado State University are calling for a slightly above average season, wit 17 named storms. Of those, nine are forecast to become hurricanes. And of those nine, researchers are prediction for 'major' storms, Category Three or higher. There were at least three shootings across the Houston area last night, and a six year old was a victim in one of them. According to HPD, a six year old was hit by a stray bullet at about 12:30am, while eating McDonalds in his apartment on the north side. HPD believes this started as a gunfight between several people. There have been no witnesses and no one is in custody. Elsewhere, a killer is on the run after a man was found shot to death outside of a southwest Houston Sonic.
