    STEVENS COUNTY, Wash. — Two Washington State Patrol (WSP) troopers detained a person suspected of firing shots at passing vehicles on Sunday night. According to WSP, it happened about nine miles north of Tum Tum on State Route 291. WSP said the Stevens County Sheriff’s office took the person into custody.     LEWISTON, Idaho — The Hatwai Fire is burning northeast of Lewiston on Saturday night. According to the Idaho Department of Lands (IDL), the fire is located near Hatwai Road and 42nd Street North. IDL said as of 12 a.m. on Saturday, the fire had burned 100 acres and burned one structure. Asotin County Fire District 1 said many homes were threatened and crews evacuated nearby neighborhoods.

    LEWISTON, Idaho — The Hatwai Fire is burning northeast of Lewiston on Saturday night. According to the Idaho Department of Lands (IDL), the fire is located near Hatwai and 42nd Street North. So far it’s burned about 50 acres and destroyed one structure, said IDL. Idaho State Police (ISP) said the fire burned rapidly on Saturday with strong winds pushing the flames to the north and northeast. The fire closed Hatwai Road between 36th Street North and Central Grade.
