THE four-year-old Hemight won the second division of the eight-furlong handicap for Herbertstown trainer Pat O’Donnell and his daughter Sylvia at Gowran Park on Wednesday evening last. Talented jockey Sylvia O'Donnell was riding her third winner in the race. A 14/1 chance in the colours of the Hemight Syndicate, the four-year-old led early inside the final furlong to beat the dick Donohoe-trained Bucky Larson by a length and three-parts.

Greenmount Cycling Academy are hosts for races from U-8 up to the elite mens and womens championship races. MUNSTER Rugby's final regular season fixture in the United Rugby Championship this Friday is officially sold out. Munster confirmed this Monday that all tickets have been snapped up for the crucial meeting with Benetton at Virgin Media Park in Cork, 8pm kick-off. The capacity for the game is 8,800. Munster currently occupy the eighth and final play-off spot in the table.
