PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) - A woman who was on the ground when a medical transport jet crashed in Northeast Philadelphia earlier this year has died from her injuries. On Jan. 31, a plane carrying six Mexican nationals, including a pediatric patient and her mother, went down on Cottman Avenue, near the Roosevelt Mall. All six aboard were killed. One other person on the ground was killed at the time of the crash, and dozens were injured.

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) - A woman is dead and another injured after a shooting in North Philadelphia Friday night. Police responded to the intersection of North Marshall and West York streets just after 9:20 p.m. and found two women suffering from gunshot wounds. Both were taken to nearby hospitals, where one died just minutes after arrival. The second victim is in critical condition. No arrests have been made, and no weapons were found at the scene.

NEWARK, Del. (KYW Newsradio) - Authorities in Newark have arrested and charged a New Castle man who they said struck and killed a University of Delaware graduate student and injured several others while fleeing officers in an overdue rental van. Gordon Turner, 22, faces charges including two counts of second-degree murder and one count of first-degree assault. Police said he was driving a U-Haul van that was more than a month overdue.
