TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) - A Tucson officer is recovering after suffering serious injuries during an attack earlier this week. According to the Tucson Police Officers Association, the officer remains in good spirits, although his recovery will be lengthy. "It was shocking. You realize the gravity of what this officer went through and how lucky he is to have survived," said Darrell Hussman, President of the Tucson Police Officers Association. The incident occurred around 9:40 a.m. Monday at a QuickTrip.

TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) - Drivers in Tucson will notice changes in speed limits on several major roads following a decision by the Tucson City Council. It's all apart of a broader initiative to enhance road safety in the city. At a recent Tucson City Council meeting, an ordinance was passed to lower speed limits on various city streets. These include Bilby Road, Calle Santa Cruz, First Avenue, Fort Lowell Road, Roger Road, Shannon Road, Silverbell Road, Sixth Avenue, and Tucson Boulevard.
