    SPENCER TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Deputies are looking for a man who they say is “armed and dangerous” after a shooting in Spencer Township early Monday morning. Just after midnight, deputies with the Kent County Sheriff’s Office were sent to a home on Keller Avenue NE near 21 Mile Road after receiving reports about a shooting. Responding deputies learned that there had been a fight between two adults in the home. During the fight, there was a struggle over a firearm.

    ORANGE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — No one was seriously hurt in a fiery multi-vehicle crash south of Ionia over the weekend. On Saturday, first responders and deputies with the Ionia County Sheriff’s Office were sent to a crash on I-96 near M-66. The crash caused two vehicles to catch fire. No one was seriously hurt. I-96 was closed for several hours while crews investigated and cleared the scene. It’s unclear what led up to the crash or how many vehicles were involved.

EGLE said its research shows that Michigan residents have increased their recycling rate from 14.25% before 2019 to over 25% today.
