Comets start the scoring 1 to 0. 2 zip in the 2nd, Stavish hits a line drive to the mound. Jake Snyder throws home as Chase Galella slides in safe to make it 3-0.
Montrose Archery team takes aim at NASP Championship

MONTROSE, Pa. — These Meteors taking aim and hitting their mark in the National Archery in the Schools Program. The Montrose archery team has put a target on their backs, with several of these kids taking regional and state titles, year after year. "It's a lot of work, a lot of practices, a lot of arrows that are shot," said team secretary Nikki Rhinevault. Earlier this month, 59 team members traveled to Louisville Kentucky for NASP Eastern Nationals.
Lewisburg girls track athletes set new District IV 'AA' records in overall win

LEWISBURG, Pa. — The Lewisburg girls and boys teams dominated at District IV track and field championships last weekend, both coming home with gold in 'AA', sending 25 athletes to states. "Everyone here works really, really hard and is really special, and we're part of just a really unique squad. I mean like we just said we qualified 3 relays. We don't know when Lewisburg had ever done that before," said junior Baylee Espinosa. A handful of Green Dragons destroyed district records in the meet.
