Last month saw the stadium’s Purvis Suite host the second annual Fife Young Carers Ball with over 80 young people letting their hair down as they partied the night away. Many young carers miss out on social events, such as school formals, proms, friend’s birthday parties etc, due to their challenging caring role, financial constraints which prevent them attending, or low self-esteem.

The Pars Former Players Association welcomed 130 enthusiastic Pars fans to KDM Group East End Park on Sunday, 16th March, for their Afternoon with the Goalkeepers event. Founded in 2009, the FPA was created to bring together former players and coaches who have worn the iconic Pars shirt, helping them maintain and renew their ties with the club. Over the years, the association has raised near £30,000 to support Dunfermline Athletic Football Club.

Dunfermline Athletic can confirm that Vice Chairman Billy Braisby has stood down from the club board. Billy has had a long connection with DAFC following the club since childhood. He joined the board in 2014 before becoming vice chairman in 2016. Billy played an instrumental role in helping to re-establish the club commercially following the exit from administration in 2013.

Dunfermline Athletic are delighted to announce the appointment of Neil Lennon as First Team Manager on an initial short term deal, until the end of the season. Neil Lennon has a seriously successful track record as a manager. He won five titles at Celtic, four Scottish Cups and one League Cup. He managed Celtic as manager and caretaker for 335 matches. At Hibernian he won the Championship and in Cyprus the national cup competition with Omonia.
