TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) - Two candidates appear to be on their way toward an April 22 runoff to decide who should represent District 23 in the Mississippi House. Unofficial results from Tuesday's special election show Perry Bailey and Colby Bollinger emerging with the most votes in the district that includes Calhoun, Lafayette, Pontotoc and Webster counties. Bailey received 1,183 votes, or 41 percent, while Bollinger finished second in the field of five with 938 votes, or 33 percent.

MILWAUKEE (WTVA) - The Ole Miss men's basketball team makes the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament with a 91-78 win Sunday night over Iowa State. Sean Padulla scored 20 points against the Cyclones with Jaemyn Brakefield providing 19 points off the bench just days after the Rebels defeated North Carolina 71-64. Ole Miss, which last clinched a spot in the Sweet 16 in 2001, will play Michigan State in Atlanta later this week.

AMORY, Miss. (WTVA) - A longtime boat maker in Amory is closing and moving to North Carolina. NauticStar Boats told its 47 employees a week ago that operations are moving to Washington, North Carolina, where its parent company Iconic Marine Group is located. The company is releasing its employees in stages as production is completed. The target date for closure is the end of May. Current employees can apply for jobs in North Carolina.

TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) - Lee County is asking drivers to stay off of county roads for the next six to eight hours Saturday unless it is an emergency. "We have so many roads that are flooded," said Tim Allred, the county road manager. "We have several culverts washed out. We've got a couple of roads that's already washed out."Those washed out roads are County Roads 452 and 598. Allred adds the county may have to close several roads until the water subsides and repairs can be made.
