Another volunteer recorded a Small Blue on April 30 - only the second time Small Blue has been recorded in April in Scotland. The results come just in time for Small Blue Week in Scotland, which runs from May 31 to June 7 and aims to raise awareness of the beleaguered but beloved butterfly.

A Glasgow bridge has been closed due to a police incident. Victoria Bridge in Glasgow is currently closed to vehicles and pedestrians. Police said officers are in attendance after receiving a report of concern for a person around 11am on Friday. People are advised to avoid the area if possible.
