Josh Neilson, Legacy High School Biology teacher, was awarded the second ever ‘Roberta Faulkner Sund Award’ Friday, March 21. Neilson has been teaching for more than two decades. He first started his teaching career at Kirby Middle School before teaching at Rider and Hirschi, before moving to Legacy.

WICHITA FALLS (KFDX/KJTL) — Nearly four decades ago, Hospice of Wichita Falls began its Tree of Lights campaign, a crucial fundraiser that continues to support the organization’s mission. Madeline Eubanks, Development Coordinator for Hospice of Wichita Falls, said that last year alone, Hospice of Wichita Falls provided more than 750 thousand dollars in charity care for patients. More than 315-thousand of that came from the Hospice Tree of Lights campaign.
