Vermont dairy worker Jose Edilberto Molina-Aguilar was ordered released on Thursday, May 22, by an immigration judge in Texas, where he was being held for a month after being arrested by U.S. Border Patrol agents on a dairy farm in Berkshire in one of the largest immigration enforcement actions in recent Vermont history. In his hearing on May 22 in immigration court, Molina-Aguilar was granted a $10,000 bond, which will be paid by the Vermont Freedom Fund.
