LONGMONT, Colo. (KDVR) — For 10 years, Mary Ann Page has been working successfully in the hospitality industry. “I actually worked in a five-diamond resort in Scottsdale, Arizona, as an event planner,” said Page. JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. (KDVR) — It takes a very special person to put on the boots, gloves, Kevlar and straddle up on a 114 cubic inch Harley-Davidson motorcycle and enforce the law. AURORA, Colo. (KDVR) — Right in the middle of the city is a gorgeous slice of country, Cherry Creek State Park. It was the first state park to open in 1959. Park manager Michelle Seubert says one of the top draws here is camping. And lots of it. “We have over 100 (camping) sites. Whether they are full hook-up, meaning you have water, sewer, electrical. Or we have one loop (area) that is basic if you want to just have a tent,” said Seubert.

AURORA, Colo. (KDVR) — For $1,375, Hannah Huckabay bought the odd-looking horse from what is referred to as a “kill pen.”“They will purchase horses primarily at auctions, or they will find cheap horses on Craigslist or wherever. They get a cheap horse, and they will ship them for meat to Mexico or Canada,” said Huckabay. The seller who sold the unusual horse to Huckabay thought it was a mule. That, he is not.
