The Niwot Road median between the northeast and southwest lanes of Colo. 119, also known as the Diagonal Highway, will be closed to all forms of transportation through 5 a.m. Wednesday. The temporary closure of the median area is for crews to prepare a bike underpass for the Colo. 119 Safety, Mobility and Bikeway Improvements Project. Niwot Road and Colo. 119 will be a “right-in, right-out” intersection during the construction, meaning that drivers will only be able to turn right onto Colo.
