FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Arkansas’ lineup is already one of the deepest left in the tournament. Six different players in the starting nine are batting over. 300 heading into the Super Regionals against Tennessee. For most of the season, that group of six was seven because it included third baseman Brent Iredale. He once ranked as high as second on the team in batting average at .431. It’s tumbled now down to .285 following a recent 1-for-15 stretch.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The cliches are abundant when it comes to team camaraderie. Every group is close together and cares for each other, but rarely does an actual activity bring a hodgepodge of transfers, freshmen, and returning players together. Fishing, something near and dear to second baseman Cam Kozeal’s heart, has brought Arkansas together as they prepare for their Super Regional matchup against Tennessee.

Ross Felder, Tag Andrews and Luke Williams have all announced their intentions to transfer. Andrews' intention to transfer was first reported by HawgBeat.

After all, each team has a Golden Spikes Award finalist. Shortstop Wehiwa Aloy has 20 homers on the year is SEC Player of the Year. Liam Doyle set a new single-season program record with 158 strikeouts and was the SEC Pitcher of the Year.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Arkansas and Tennessee will face off starting Saturday with a spot in the College World Series on the line. Unlike the Fayetteville Regional, both teams have plenty of MLB Draft prospects. In total, 13 of the MLB's Top 200 Prospects will be on the field at Baum-Walker Stadium, the most of any super regional. You can view the hitter breakdowns here.
