On Wednesday, the Jefferson County attorney's office declined to pursue charges against PGA Tour star Scottie Scheffler. Scheffler was involved in an incident with a Louisville police officer prior to the second round of the PGA Championship and subsequently arrested. Scheffler was originally charged with four offenses, including the felony charge of second degree assault of a police officer.

There's a bizarre situation unfolding in Tuscaloosa, Ala., surrounding Kansas City Chiefs defensive lineman Isaiah Buggs. Buggs is accused of two misdemeanor counts of animal cruelty, but he says that police are targeting and harassing him because of a hookah business he owns in town.

Prior to the second round of the PGA Championship two weeks ago, the world's #1 golfer, Scottie Scheffler, was arrested by Louisville PD. He was charged with four offenses, including felony second degree assault of a police officer. Scheffler maintained that the incident occurred due to a "big misunderstanding" and was very complimentary of police despite the arrest. On Wednesday, the Jefferson County attorney's office declined to pursue any of the charges against Scheffler.

Last season, the Cincinnati Reds came up with one of the most unique home run celebrations in Major League Baseball.
