(WPTA) - Allen County Prosecutor Michael McAlexander says he was raised on the idea that the state is always ready to go to trial, and he holds on to that principle despite a statewide shortage of deputy prosecutors. KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. (WPTA) - A 35-year-old Bourbon man was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Kosciusko County Wednesday morning. Emergency personnel responded to an overturned Toyota Prius in a water-filled ditch along C.R. 300 West at about 8:10 a.m., according to the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office. The vehicle, driven by Derek T. Anderson, was driving southbound when he crossed the center line, exited the east side of the roadway and struck the guardrail.

ANGOLA, Ind. (WPTA) - A former chief financial officer for a company headquartered in Angola and his assistant are accused of laundering thousands of dollars for personal use. Michael Campo, 58, of Mokena, Illinois, has been charged with felony money laundering, corrupt business influence and six counts of theft. His former assistant, 34-year-old Kalyn Bruce, of New Haven, is also accused of money laundering and corrupt business influence, as well as four counts of theft.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Two men are facing misdemeanor charges after allegedly exposing their genitals to Fort Wayne Police Department officers. Captain Jeremy Webb, spokesman for the city police, says officers were patrolling the area on Friday after receiving complaints about “acts of lewdness.”During the patrol, two men, identified as 52-year-old Scott Dean and 60-year-old Thomas Aldrich, allegedly exposed their genitals to officers.
