PEPPERELL — The last time Kayla Tetreault saw her twin sister in person they hung out at Heald Street Orchard, one of their favorite places in town that they’ve been visiting since they were kids. “Alyssa’s passing has been a pain that hit like no other. She was not only my identical twin, she was my other half and best friend for 27 beautiful years,” Kayla said of her sister, who tragically died in a car accident last month.

LEOMINSTER — The Knights of Columbus awarded scholarships to ten worthy high school seniors earlier this month, an annual tradition that has been taking place for five decades. Eight students from Leominster High School and two from St. Bernard’s High School in Fitchburg each received $1,000 scholarships. The majority of those seniors were on hand to accept a check during a celebration held on May 12 at the Knights’ new 24 Columbia St. headquarters and Mayor Dean Mazzarella joined in.
