SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ – The South Plainfield Board of Education (SPBOE), at its final meeting of the 2024-2025 school year, approved, through resolution, a new employment contract for the district’s head administrator. During the June 11 public session, the SPBOE voted to rescind Superintendent Dr. Noreen Tansey’s current contract, which was valid through June 30, 2028, and approve a new five-year agreement that extends her tenure with the district an additional two years.

Last month, Luxardo independently published The Portal Dimension - The Eleanor Palace (Book 1), and on June 11, the Roosevelt Elementary School fourth grader had the opportunity to autograph copies for peers, teachers, and staff at a book signing event held at the school.
