    The Notre Dame Hounds will become the Warman Wolverines when the 2025/26 Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League season begins. The team was officially sold in March, by Athol Murray College at Notre Dame to investors from Warman. The sale transfers ownership of the franchise, its players list and coaches. The logo is a side profile of a wolverine. The colours include red, which is a nod to the franchise’s roots, as the Hounds.

    The Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League’s (SJHL) board of Governors has granted conditional approval for the relocation of the Notre Dame Hounds to Warman, Sask. for the upcoming 2025-26 season. The move is subject to approval from Warman City Council at an upcoming meeting scheduled for Feb. 24 and a successful season ticket and corporate sponsorship drive.

She was by all accounts, one of the best baseball players in the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League leaving her Senior A. team in Regina, Sask. to join the Fort Wayne Daisies of the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League (AAGPBL) in 1945.
