    An official ribbon cutting ceremony for a new gazebo at the FJ Davey Home took place yesterday afternoon. The gazebo, for FJ Davey Home residents and their visitors to enjoy, was built in honour of a past resident - Bob Burns - who died in 2023. Fran Burns, Bob’s widow, cut the ribbon surrounded by FJ Davey Home management team members. “I'm very excited.     Darrell Fox cycled into the Sault late Thursday afternoon as he continued his cross Canada journey to raise funds for cancer research and mark the 45th anniversary of brother Terry Fox’s Marathon of Hope.   Accompanied by seven other cyclists, Darrell began his journey in Vancouver on June 9, 2025. Thursday marked the eighteenth day of his 32-day trek to St. John’s. Darrell and his team will be resting at Sleep Inn before resuming their gruelling cycling trip Friday morning.
