(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- No one is hurt after a house fire in Cedar Rapids early Thursday morning. The Cedar Rapids Fire department responded to reports of the fire around 12:30am. When crews arrived, they found that the residents had already gotten out of the home and had their pet with them. Firefighters put the fire out quickly, but the home was significantly damaged. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

(Iowa) -- Agriculture solutions company Landus is looking for a new CEO. The company announced that Matt Carstens has stepped down as President and CEO. Landus Board Chairman Matt Chambers is serving as acting Chief Executive Officer, with an interim CEO to be announced this week. Carstens served as Landus CEO for five years. The company has launched a nationwide search for a new interim and permanent CEO.

The closures at Exit 25 will be part of the the Boyson Road interchange project. The exit ramp expected to re-open by Memorial Day, while the entrance ramp is expected to re-open around the Fourth of July.

Library Director Susan Woody will retire after 21 years at the Des Moines Public Library, including the last seven as Library Director. She began her career at DMPL in 2004, originally as Library Assistant in Youth Services. Woody will retire on June 30th.

Photo: RAGBRAI(Des Moines, IA) -- The 2025 RAGBRAI route will cross the Iowa-Minnesota state line for the first time ever. Organizers have released the 52nd RAGBRAI route and map, with a 15-mile stretch crossing the border into Minnesota on Day 2. That's in Jackson County, Minnesota just north of Spirit Lake, Iowa. The annual statewide bike ride starts July 19th in Orange City and ends in Guttenberg on July 26th. The 2025 RAGBRAI route: Day 0 is the Expo in Orange City, in Northwest Iowa.

(Iowa) -- The latest U.S. drought monitor map shows most of Iowa is in some type of drought. Approximately 80 percent of the state is in some form of drought condition, ranging from abnormally dry to moderate drought, primarily in central, western, and eastern Iowa. About 20 percent of the state, mostly in south central and south eastern Iowa are drought free.

Central Iowans are invited to provide their feedback and perspectives on two concepts that would redesign Des Moines' regional bus network. DART is looking for the public's input during the month of April, and feedback will guide the DART commission as it decides its future priorities and budget.
