SPRINGFIELD — Springfield detectives are investigating a Friday afternoon shooting that left three people seriously injured. Ryan Walsh, spokesperson for the Springfield Police Department, said officers were dispatched to a ShotSpotter activation on Malden Street just before 2 p.m. As they arrived at the scene, police found three people, two men and a woman, suffering gunshot wounds.
