Greenwich High The home-opening game for the Greenwich High School varsity lacrosse team was a tense, exciting, back-and-forth battle against FCIAC rival Staples, with both squads matching each other goal-for-goal for the majority of the matchup. The damp, chilly weather conditions didn’t prevent the Cardinals and Wreckers from displaying their strengths and as is usually the case when these FCIAC foes duel, the game was decided in the closing minutes.
