    QUEENS, NY — A New York City public school teacher was arrested on Tuesday for allegedly raping a teen girl, according to police and a report. David Ospino, 36, was arrested around 11 a.m. in the confines of 112th Precinct, police said. He has been charged with rape and endangering the welfare of a child. According to reports, Ospino was arrested at I.S. 204 Oliver W. Holmes is located at 36-41 28th St. in Long Island City.

    QUEENS, NY —A 37-year-old man has been arraigned on charges after allegedly hoarding nearly 50 dogs and puppies in an overcrowded and dirty New York City apartment, prosecutors said. Isaak Yadgarov faces up to a year in jail and has been charged with 48 counts of aggravated cruelty to animals and neglect of an impounded animal. “The defendant is accused of hoarding 48 Belgian Malinois in a cramped and filthy apartment filled with the animals’ excrement," Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz said.
