Librarian Carla Hayden received the email from the White House deputy director of presidential personnel on Thursday, NBC News reported. “President Donald J. Trump has decided to end your role as Librarian of Congress, effective right away,” the email read, according to NBC News. “Thank you for your service.”No reason was provided for her firing.
