India, April 18 -- "Good night," he said at the start of what would be his final Indian Super League (ISL) media conference of the season. "Oh, good night here is after." That was Jose Molina on realising that he had addressed the room the Iberian way. He laughed, so did the press corps. Even after helping Mohun Bagan Super Giant win their first ISL double , Molina was his usual calm self. What was the half-time talk like after Bengaluru FC had attacked in waves?

Kolkata: Inter Milan desperately defending against Bayern Munich late in the game was not what Simone Inzaghi wanted as was evident from the head coach wheeling arms, clapping and exhorting his team to show more energy. But it, and the 4-3 quarter-final win on aggregate after the 2-2 draw in Milan, felt very Italian. It also brought back memories of what Inzaghi had said after the 1-0 win against Arsenal earlier in the Champions League.

Kolkata, April 17 -- Paris St-Germain (PSG) are used to playing in Champions League semi-finals. This will be their fourth in sixth seasons. What looks different this time is their survival instinct honed like never before. Who knows, the 5-4 aggregate win against Aston Villa after Tuesday's 2-3 defeat may even be a rite of passage in their quest for a first title. PSG's collapses are part of Champions League folklore.

In 181 IPL matches Narine has played since @KKRiders bought him in 2012, he has not completed his quota of only eight times when they bowled first. Irrespective of when KKR bowled, Narine completed his quota in every match in 2014, 2015, 2021, 2022 and 2024. #KKRvsLSG
