WAKE FOREST, N.C. (WTVD) -- A home improvement project that a Wake Forest couple says left them frustrated for months. "It is a construction zone in here, and this is how we've been surviving for the past three to four months," said Venus Woke. On Woke's first floor, her carpet is torn up in several places, the subfloor is exposed, furniture is not where it's supposed to be, and flooring that was supposed to be put down is just sitting in boxes. The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) announced Wednesday that Publishers Clearing House (PCH) has agreed to send $18.5 million in payments to customers "harmed by misleading claims made" by the company known for its sweepstakes promotion and prize patrol delivery to winners. You could be among thousands of people due a refund from the company. If you are part of the settlement, the checks are on the way, but don't expect the Prize Patrol to pull up to your front door with the check and balloons.

NORTH CAROLINA -- A warning to consumers about fake Ozempic (semaglutide). The FDA issued this alert saying counterfeits have been found in the US drug supply chain. The FDA and the manufacturer of Ozempic, Novo Nordisk are urging patients, doctors and pharmacies to check their Ozempic prescriptions to make sure they are legitimate. Novo Nordisk, the manufacturer, says they are aware of several hundred units of Ozempic injection 1 mg being distributed outside of their supply chain.
