This year's tractor road run fundraiser in aid of Andy's Children's Hospice will have the added attraction of supercars and rally cars. Organised by the Market Rasen friends of Andy's, the event will be taking place at Wrights of Willingham in North Willingham this Sunday, May 18. Around 40 cars are expected to create a static display at the venue, something the organising team is looking forward to.

More than 50 people of all ages turned for the Santa Fun Run organised by Market Rasen Rotary Club. Everyone got into the early festive spirit dressing up to take on two laps of the designated route, starting and finishing at the town's leisure centre. Rotarian Dianne Tuckett said: "Thanks go to everyone who took part. There was a great turn out from Market Rasen Running Club too, which was very much appreciated.

The Lincolnshire Wolds & Coast Churches Festival takes place over the first full weekends in September – 7,8,14 and 15 – when 100 churches throw open their doors to celebrate their unique architecture and heritage, beautiful tranquillity and spirituality, and their wonderful welcome.

When the very popular Jossals cafe and bistro closed its doors earlier this year, there were fears the building would be left empty – but love is showing the way forward. Co-owner of the former Jossals, Jo Parsons has transformed the interior of the building in Queen Street into a showcase for her new wedding and events business. Having worked in hospitality for most of her working life, Jo said she wasn’t ready to retire and so has taken on a franchise with Ambience Venue Styling.
