FINDLAY, Ohio — The city of Findlay is taking a new approach to flood control with a proposed $30–35 million development that combines flood mitigation with community revitalization. The plan includes parks, performance spaces and family-friendly amenities, all designed to withstand periodic flooding from the nearby Blanchard River and Eagle Creek. City leaders revealed renderings this week of the 19-acre area near downtown Findlay.
