The study also shows that Utah ranks eleventh in the work environment category and number one in the living environment category. WalletHub analyst Chip Lupo said the rankings are based on several factors.

SALT LAKE CITY — As many as 100,000 people could be in the downtown area this weekend as The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints holds its 195th Annual General Conference. “If you’re downtown, it is going to be very busy. There’s going to be a lot of people out and about. A lot of people driving and walking and biking,” said John Gleason with the Utah Department of Transportation. With that many people in the downtown area, Gleason said drivers are going to need to be extra cautious.

SALT LAKE CITY — Portions of Utah may be looking at 80-degree temperatures this week, but meteorologists say that winter isn’t done with us yet. KSL Chief Meteorologist Kevin Eubank said the chances are high that we’ll have a few more snowstorms this spring. “During the month of April, we still average here in Salt Lake City about 3 inches of snowfall,” Eubank said. He said the proof is in the records. “The records, show about 24 inches of snow during that month back in 1974 and again in 1984.
