A new plan to manage state forest land in Oregon could give a boost to Polk County’s share of logging profits. Polk County’s average annual share of the logging profits would increase from the current 10-year average of $136,000 to about $700,000, according to new models created by the Oregon Department of Forestry. Fewer restrictions on the 6,000 acres of state forest land, mostly in the southwest portion of the county, would allow more logging.

Hey @Joe_Davis Let’s make a deal: When you mention the Mets’ “amazing comeback” this year, you also have to mention that those same Mets have the largest payroll in the MLB. The. Largest. Payroll. More than the Dodgers. More than the Yankees. These aren’t scrappy overachievers.

Hey @PortlandGov, you really need to fix the SmartPark system for after Timbers/Thorns home games. This is a nightmare.
