    For decades, there has been a debate about whether a former Kansas City Chiefs player should be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Jim Tyrer was a Chief in the 1960s. He was revered for his playing skills. He was also known as a family man. But, in 1980, Tyrer shot and killed his wife Martha, before turning the gun on himself.
