TONTITOWN -- The state's most extensive air quality testing yet in Tontitown began Friday in hopes of settling whether the Eco-Vista landfill is the source of pollutants found in prior tests. CTEH, an environmental engineering firm with its Arkansas operations based in North Little Rock, is conducting the tests. The state Department of Energy and Environment ordered the tests and receives assistance from the state Department of Health's Environmental Epidemiology Section.
