BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) - The funeral plans for former Bowling Green Master Police Officer Dale Barbeia have been released. The funeral service will be at 4 p.m. with visitation from 11 a.m. at Living Hope Church under the direction of Hardy and Sons Funeral Homes. MPO Barbeia served from June 2008 to June 14 after a battle with cancer. He was a native of Louisville and served as a police officer in Jackson, TN prior to joining the Bowling Green Police Department.

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) - The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has blocked off a section of KY 175 North in Muhlenberg County to replace a failing cross drain. Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 2 posted the alert on social media Tuesday to warn drivers about the portion of the roadway being closed off. The temporary closure is due to a failing drainage tile located at the 19.2 mile point.

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) - Bowling Green Police were welcomed with a nice surprise after following up on a possible animal cruelty complaint. The complaint was unfounded, but Officer Von Steinfort was able to meet a friendly lemur by the name of King Julien. BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) - The Ohio County Sheriff’s Office searching for a man who went missing on Sunday. Walter Dale is 36 years old, 6 feet tall and weighing about 150 lb. He was last seen around 4:30 p.m. on May 11 in the State Route 1414 area. Dale was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, blue uniform pants, and a blue denim safari hat.
