Flights from Aberdeen to Krakow and Alicante are continuing into next year, Ryanair has confirmed. The low-cost airline’s services to the Polish and Spanish cities will boost Aberdeen International Airport’s winter schedule. Ryanair launched its Aberdeen to Krakow route just last month, offering passengers a direct route between the two cities. Tickets were originally available to book until October.

A pick-your-own rhubarb experience has been launched at a family farm in Aberdeenshire. Carole and Matthew Short, the farming couple behind Down On The Farm near Rosehearty, have been welcoming visitors for more than a decade. They started their glamping business on site with just one unit in 2012 and have expanded over the years to offer a variety of accommodation and farm tours.

A 35-year-old man has been reported missing from Oban. Patrick Duncan was last seen in the Queens Park Place area of the town at about 9.40am on Monday. He has not been in touch with his family since and concerns are growing for his welfare. Police have now shared a public appeal for information on his whereabouts. Patrick is described as being 5ft 10ins tall and of medium build with short, dark hair.

Police are searching for two male suspects after ATMs were tampered with across the north-east. Officers have received reports of three different incidents involving ATMS, which they are treating as linked. These took place in Kingswells, Stonehaven and Portlethen on Monday. At about 8.15pm, a “suspicious device” was found attached to an ATM outside the Co-op on Kingswood Drive in Kingswells.

Two vehicles have been involved in a crash near Ellon. Police and paramedics are at the scene of the collision on the A90 Aberdeen to Peterhead road. It is understood the incident took place north of the Ellon roundabout, near Tesco, shortly before 4pm on Friday. Traffic is building in the area and motorists are advised to find an alternative route until further notice. Several police cars and two ambulances were seen at the scene.
