A man wanted for a string of robberies at Philadelphia businesses was arrested, according to a spokesperson with the police department. Marcos Neto, 19, was considered one of the two suspects wanted for commercial burglary charges and other related offenses, according to investigators. The burglaries happened in Northeast Philadelphia between Feb. 15 and May 26 of 2025, according to police. A second suspect is still wanted for his involvement in the robberies.

There's been a break in 30-year-old cold case mystery at the Jersey Shore after experts confirmed skeletal remains found on three beaches belonged to a 19th century boat captain. The bones from a leg, arm and fragments of a cranium discovered on the beaches of Ocean City, Margate and Longport between 1995 and 2013 yielded no answers until now. Authorities said the remains belong to 29-year-old Captain Henry Goodsell, who died at sea 181 years ago.

A Pennsylvania man pleaded guilty to selling counterfeit artwork to customers that he claimed was made by popular artists. On Thursday, May 29, 77-year-old Carter Reese, of Reading, pleaded guilty to one count of wire fraud and one count of mail fraud. The guilty plea was in connection to him allegedly selling artwork that he told his customers was made by popular artists including Andy Warhol, Pablo Picasso, Roy Lichtenstein, Joan Miró and more.

Police in Philadelphia are now saying they believe five guns were fired during the shooting in Fairmount Park on Memorial Day, according to a spokesperson with the police department. Two people were killed and at least nine others – including several teenagers – were injured in the mass shooting that happened on Monday, May 26, police said. Investigators said there was a large gathering of young people near Lemon Hill Drive and Sedgley Drive around 10:30 p.m. when the gunfire broke out.
