CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — An AMBER Alert has been released for 8-year-old Patrick Killian who is said to be abducted out of Aransas Pass. According to the alert, the suspect is 48-year-old Jeffery Harris. He was last seen in a Silver 2016 Hyundai Elantra with Texas license plate VDK447K. CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — An 18-wheeler hydroplaned on the roadway and struck the center median while traveling on US 77 north near Kingsville, according to DPS Sgt. Rob Mallory. Mallory said a heavy wrecker was on the way to clear the scene. He added that drivers can expect delays in the area and urges them to drive carefully has first responders work to clear the roadway. CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A fire broke out at a home on the corner of Elmdale and Dunbrook drives, a neighborhood near the Weber H-E-B, according Corpus Christi Fire Department officials. Assistant Chief Daniel Valdez said about a dozen CCFD units responded to the scene and were able to put the fire out. No injuries were reported. Valdez said one person was in the home when the fire started, but was able to get out of the house.

In a Facebook post, HRI officials say Pop-up Satellite Archival Tags -- that they've been using to collect data on Cobia fish movement patterns -- have been washing up at PINS. No need for concern, this is by design! These tags detach from the fish on a scheduled date, so they can be retrieved along with the data they record.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Around 2,800 residents are without power, according to AEP Texas' online outage map. The map shows that many of the outages are being experienced by Weber Road and SPID as well as Greenwood Drive and Gollihar Road. According to CCPD, a power pole on Weber Road and Lamont Street was reported to have been on fire Tuesday evening. What caused the outages and when power will be restored is not yet known.
