SAN ANTONIO — Two women were rescued by firefighters after an early morning fire sparked in their northwest-side home. The San Antonio Fire Department responded to the 14000 block of Cedar Mill around 5:17 a.m. on Friday for reports of a house fire. When officials arrived on scene, they found heavy flames coming from the second floor of the home, and learned a woman was trapped up there.

TIMBERWOOD PARK, Texas — A man was killed in a garage fire in Timberwood Park after he became trapped inside due to what officials say was a "hoarding situation." The Bexar County Fire Marshals are investigating the cause of this deadly fire inside of a garage on 25500 block of Echo Terrace on Saturday afternoon. Fire crews responded to the area where heavy smoke was coming from the garage of a home around 12:34 p.m., according to Bexar-Bulverde Fire Chief Jerry Bialick.

SAN ANTONIO — A man was stabbed in what police are calling a road rage incident that escalated. It happened on the 700 block of SW Military Drive on the south side just before 8 a.m. on Friday. San Antonio Police on the scene said a dispute between two drivers continued when they pulled into the H-E-B parking lot to argue about it.   Officers on the scene said one man then stabbed the other as he was trying to defend himself.

SAN ANTONIO — A man was shot during a robbery at a taco truck on the north side of town early Tuesday morning. Police responded to the 5200 block of Blanco Road in the parking lot of Taco de Mamas where a man was shot in the stomach. Officials on the scene said a man drove up to a truck and confronted two other men and demanded their wallets at gunpoint before shooting at them. Police said the driver of the truck then returned fire but was struck by gunfire in his stomach.
