SULLIVAN'S ISLAND, S.C. (WCBD) - The family of a 10-year-old who was injured during a car attack on Sullivan's Island last week recounted the incident and shared how they are recovering. "Next thing you know, I'm running for my life. God saved me, at that moment, he saved me," said 10-year-old Tanner Czuar, one of the two children injured in the attack. Tanner ducked to the ground as a car driven by Justin Collin Adams plowed towards him.

ISLE OF PALMS, S.C. (WCBD) - As the weather warms and more people head to Lowcountry beaches, officials are reminding everyone to comply with posted signage and to be careful about where they swim. It comes after two people died Tuesday, after crews retrieved them from Breach Inlet. Breach Inlet has historically been a dangerous place to swim because of the rough current. It is against the law to go in the waters, but rescue crews have pulled many people out over the years.

(WCBD) - After an hours-long manhunt for the suspect accused of striking three people with a car on Sullivan's Island last Thursday, the team inside the Charleston County Sheriff's Office's Air 1 helicopter is sharing how they were able to bring that search to an end. Charleston County Sheriff's Office started using the Air 1 in January, a new state-of-the-art helicopter, that helped track down Justin Collin Adams.

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) - The City of Charleston Board of Appeals voted to reject Dockside townhome residents' appeal on the order to evacuate. Residents at the townhomes were hoping that Monday night would be a step forward in moving back into their homes. Back in February, residents at the Dockside Condominiums were ordered to evacuate due to structural concerns, and shortly afterwards, the residents in the townhomes surrounding the tower were ordered to evacuate as well.
