While severe weather prompted some changes to the Fat Tuesday festivities, there's still plenty happening across New Orleans. See scenes from across the city. The Krewe of Rex parade route has changed once again, the New Orleans Police Department announced early on Mardi Gras morning. Due to incoming severe weather and high winds, Zulu and Rex changed their start times and routes on Monday. Now, Rex will parade at 9:30 a.m. beginning at its traditional start at Napoleon and Claiborne avenues. They will travel down St. Charles Avenue to Calliope Street. The procession will end there.
