Met Eireann has forecast an unsettled Easter bank holiday weekend with plenty of rain on the way. A Status Yellow rain warning has been issued for Cork and Kerry and is valid from 11pm today until 12pm tomorrow. Met Eireann warned heavy spells of rain may lead to localised flooding in those areas. Today will start dry and bright across the country but some showers will develop later this morning and through the afternoon, with cloud increasing too.

Gardaí have launched a public appeal to locate a teenage boy who is reported missing from his home Bray since Saturday 12th April. Cody Wesley, aged 14, is described as being approximately 5 feet 10 inches in height with a slim build, brown hair and green eyes. Cody was last seen in the Boghall Road area of Bray at approximately 2pm yesterday afternoon. When last seen he was wearing a black puffer jacket, black Nike Air runners and grey tracksuit bottoms.
