People are being warned about a parking scam in south Dublin. Gardaí say a number of convincing fraudulent parking tickets were left on cars last year, mimicking genuine fines from Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council. Officers are investigating after people were instructed to scan QR codes on fake tickets, directing them to a copycat version of a payment site. Drivers are being advised to contact the council or gardaí if they suspect they've been issued with a forged ticket.
