In five to 10 years, the Missouri S&T program hopes to propel a rocket 100 kilometers above Earth's surface. Teams strive to get higher and higher every year, inching toward the goal with help from Rolla's limestone mines.

Members of the MU community and friends and family of the deceased gathered in front of Jesse Hall for the ceremony.
