    CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) - More humid this weekend, with some needed showers to make a return, especially Saturday. A front stalled off to our southeast back into the Carolinas, will start to move northward by Saturday and this weekend. This will bring back the humidity and a good chance for some widespread showers, possible storm Saturday. Currently, the morning and afternoon look the wettest. There will be breaks in the rain.

    CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) - Friday marks the hottest day of this week. High pressure offshore and an approaching cold front will send temperatures into the low and mid 90s by afternoon, on southwest winds. The front will also, touch off a few storms during the afternoon and evening. Isolated severe risk with any storm, with the main threat damaging wind gusts. Many will not see any rain Friday. Behind the front, temperatures and humidity will lower for the Father’s Day weekend.

    CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) - Few lingering showers ending early tonight. Clearing and chilly ovenright with breezy conditions into the late week. Sun will give way to mostly cloudy skies Thursday and some scattered afternoon showers. The higher elevations could see a little rain and or snow showers, as the air aloft is quite cold. Gusty winds Thursday out of the west to northwest 25 - 35+ mph.

    CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) - While not as warm as Thursday, temperatures will back down, but still remain above average for mid-March Friday and even this weekend. Friday an approaching cold front will bring some scattered showers and isolated storms. The rain will not be widespread with amounts generally, well under a quarter inch. Sunny, dry and while cooler, still mild for the Saint Patrick’s Day weekend, with high temperatures in the 60s.
