Dallas-based Arcis Golf has acquired The Woodlands Country Club, the private club with five golf courses at four locations throughout the township and host of the annual Insperity tournament. "This was a rare opportunity to acquire an iconic club and further expand our presence in Houston," Blake Walker, CEO of Arcis Golf, said in a statement.

There are 81,800 millionaires living in Houston, according to an annual report from Henley & Partners, a London-based investment migration consultancy, and New World Wealth, a global wealth intelligence firm headquartered in South Africa.
